Poker Tournaments Are Where the Real Money Is Made

Anytime I visit the poker room at Pacific Poker, I always see newbies grinding hard playing at the micro limit tables. I always think to myself “What are these players doing? Why even bother with these tiny levels?” Sure, people will probably say they are building their bankroll or are gaining valuable experience playing online poker.
Do you know how long it would take to build a respectable bankroll at the $.05/$0.10 no limit Texas holdem game? It would take a lot of luck and a very long time.
They must be playing at these tables for experience then, right? No. To get better at poker, you have to play against skilled players. The players who frequent at these tables are usually no more than fish who are just playing poker to kill some time.
What is the real way to build your bankroll and get better, then?
The answer is online poker tournaments!
First, the buyings are pretty low and the potential ROI is huge. If you find the right tournament, you can win over $1000 on a buying as love as $5. Try and make that much at a ring game.
Next, since the potential for profit is huge, you get a lot more experienced poker players participating in these tournaments. Watching them play and learning from them is a good way to become a better player, without even studying!
If you want to be a better player and build a bankroll, skip the micro limit tables and head over to the tournament section. You won’t be sorry!
